HELLO THERE!
Photography is a powerful medium and expression and communications, offers an infinity variety of perception, interpretation and execution. Photography is a way of feeling, of touching, of loving what you have caught on film is captured forever... it remembers little things, long after you have forgotten everything. To me is catching a moment which is passing, and which is true. Photographs open doors into the past, but they also allow a look into the future. Slowly I began to use cameras and then think about what it was that was going on. It took me a long time; I mean I actually played with cameras and photography for about 35 years began to realise that the camera sees the world differently than human eye and that sometimes those differences can make a photograph more powerful than what you actually observed. Landscape photography is the supreme test of the photographer- and often the supreme disappointment. Photography has no rules, it is not a sport. It is the result which counts, no matter how it is achieved results are uncertain even among the more experienced photographers. I don't think there's any such thing as teaching people photography, other than influencing them a little. People have to be their own learners. They have to have a certain talent. Most things in life are moments of pleasure. Photography, alone of the arts, seems perfected to serve the desire humans have for a moment- this very moment- to stay. I think life is too short not to be doing something which you really believe in. I just find myself happy with the simple things. Appreciating the blessings God gave me.
